Join us for a unique one-day trip that takes you deep beneath the surface to explore two of Poland’s most remarkable underground treasures. Your adventure begins in the heart of Kraków with a delicious cup of coffee and a sandwich or cake, followed by a comfortable car ride to the world-famous Wieliczka Salt Mine. After a guided tour through stunning salt-carved chambers and the breathtaking Chapel of St. Kinga, we’ll continue on to Bochnia – the oldest salt mine in Poland. There, you’ll uncover centuries of history, ride an underground train, and even experience a magical boat crossing. After a day full of exploration and unforgettable sights, we’ll bring you back to Kraków in comfort and style.

9. What should I bring with me?

Comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket, and your camera (photography is allowed in most areas).

10. Can I book this trip as a private tour?

Yes, private tours are available on request.

8. Do we visit both mines on the same day?

Yes – first Wieliczka, then Bochnia. After both tours, we return to Kraków in the evening.

7. Is food or water provided during the trip?

A coffee and snack at the start are included. You may also bring your own water or purchase drinks/snacks near the entrances to the mines.

6. What is the temperature inside the mines?

The temperature underground is about 14–16°C (57–60°F) year-round, so bring a light jacket even in summer.

5. Is the tour suitable for children or elderly visitors?

Yes, but please note there are many stairs (especially in Wieliczka). Both mines are accessible for older children, but strollers are not allowed. Elevators are available at some points.

4. How much walking is involved?

Expect to walk around 3–4 kilometers in each mine, mostly underground. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.

Yes, both Wieliczka and Bochnia Salt Mines offer guided tours in English. Other languages may be available on request.

The tour takes around 9–10 hours, including travel time, guided tours of both salt mines, and short breaks.
